Quietly tucked away from the traffic jams, noisy neighbours and such, Palm Garden is the ideal destination for you if you are looking for a golf game which is not too far away and yet close enough to be within reach.
The course is designed by international golf architect Rick Robbins, Palm Garden Golf Club boasts of 3 nines namely the Putra, the Palm and the IOI, all of which are placed over 330 acres of land that encompasses hills and slopes and valley. The course is surrounded by hills and hence when standing on the greens you will be surrounding only by the natural colours of nature with none of the concrete and stone walls distracting you.
You will enjoy your golf here amidst the challenging course with an affordable fee from RM55.00 for the 9 hole on weekdays and RM80 for weekends. The 18 holes will cost you only RM75 on mornings during weekdays and RM90.00 in the afternoons. On weekends, 18 holes will cost RM120.00.
Other fess like Buggy charges are RM31.50 for the 9 holes and RM63 for the 18s while Caddies will charge you RM21.00 for the 9s and RM36.75 on the 18 holes. Tee off times start at 7.15am in the mornings and 12noon for the afternoons.
Getting there
The easiest way to get to Palm Garden is by road because most of all the highways in the Klang Valley basically leads you to Putrajaya. From Kuala Lumpur, the PLUS highway is the best way to get to Palm Garden where you can exit through the Putrajaya interchange and follow the ‘IOI Resort’ directions. If you are coming from Puchong or Damansara, the LDP will lead you to Putrajaya where you follow the signs and head towards ‘IOI Resort’. If you are coming from any other parts of the country, you only need to follow the PLUS highway and exit at Putrajaya and then head towards ‘IOI Resort’ and you are already here.
