Woods bound for BMW
Tiger Woods seemed to wrap up a pair of “to do” list items on Monday at TPC Boston thanks to a closing 68, marking the first time this year he’s card three consecutive rounds in the 60s.
Woods is currently tied for 13th which lifts him well inside the top 70 on the FedEx Cup points list and into next week’s
BMW Championship. He also seems destined to receive a phone call from Corey Pavin Monday night to make his spot on the Ryder Cup team official.
Not that the world No. 1, who also seems poised to remain atop the ranking, was feeling the pressure either way.
“After what I’ve been through this year it’s not even close,” he said.
Woods is currently projected at 51st on the FedEx Cup points list, up from 65th.Can't wait to see how the performance of his next game.
