The Malaysia International Golf Fair (MIGF) is launching “Tee for Peace” to promote world peace through golf. On 1 Oct, the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak will tee off with ambassadors from various nations and guests for a game of “peace golf”. This kicks off a fund raising campaign to benefit people of conflict zones.
Held in support of United Nation’s International Day of Peace (21 Sept), “Tee for Peace” also fulfills MIGF’s objectives of:
    - Enlarging the golf community and deepening golf fraternity in the region
    - Forging closer ties between the golf industry and golfers

Make a Real Difference at the Peace Tree

Enjoy golf fair perks by doing your part for peace at MIGF!
A Peace Tree will be set up at Malaysia International Golf Fair. Buy a peace tag with donations of RM 10, RM 50 or RM 100, and redeem attractive prizes, incentives and tickets to golf clinics at participating outlets. Proceeds will fund humanitarian aid for conflict zone communities and building a foundation for love and peace.

On and around Peace Day in the past 3 years, organizations have managed to vaccinate 4 million children against polio in Afghanistan. The UN recorded a 70 percent drop in violent incidents on Peace Day 2008.
