Top Features of a Great Golf School
Whenever you are considering signing up for a golf school, regardless of the price of your experience you deserve to be able
to take the most advantage of it as possible. There are fantastic golfing academies and there are not so great ones, so you
absolutely have to do some research to find out which ones are which. A good golf school is absolutely and completely
dedicated to making you a better golfer, and that is all there is to it. You can do this successfully in a pretty short
amount of time if you are at the right facility.
So how do you know if the academy you are considering is one of the good ones? One very important aspect is ratio the ratio
of students to teachers. You need to enroll with a program that has no more than a 4 to 1 student/teacher ratio. A ratio of
2 to 1 would really be something great, and it is definitely possible to get lessons with a 1 to 1 ratio too. You will have
to pay more for the 1 to 1 ratio, but if you are going to be able to afford it, it will certainly be worth it to improving
your golf game.
A good golf school should have teaching professionals who are seasoned and highly qualified. In fact, they should not only
be qualified to teach, but it would be nice if they were qualified to play too! Many of the top golf schools have
instructors who are former PGA and LPGA tour winners, so you should scour your options for one of these schools. Make sure
at least a few of the teaching professionals at a golf school are recognized in the golf world. You can easily find out
online which instructors are listed at different academies.
Any golf school should have accommodations that are included in the price for your package, and those accommodations should
be very near to the golf course on which youll be instructed. This is not only convenient, but it cuts out a lot of
transportation stress regarding going back and forth from the greens to the hotel you are lodged at.
Make sure that the golf school is going to have a specific lesson plan for your swing. They should tailor it personally and
specifically for you; you do not want one size fits all instruction. This is obviously very important because every single
golfer on the planet is unique, and so a specialized instruction plan is most beneficial.
Finally, you may not think it will be very important right now, but you should be provided with free unlimited follow up via
phone and/or email once your session is finished. This is important because it is a sign of just how dedicated the golf
school really is to their students, and it proves that they are in it for the long haul when it comes to helping you improve
your game.
