Kelab Golf Seri Selangor

The Kelab Golf Seri Selangor is known as the first bona fide public golf course in Malaysia. Located in the satellite city of Petaling Jaya, it is nestled in the midst of the modern city and engulfed among natural trees and ponds that make the game all the more fulfilling.

Kelab Golf Seri Selangor is one of the most established public Golf Courses in Malaysia where it was officiated in 1998 and has become one of the most popular golfing destinations in the Klang Valley. The golf course measures 6,374 meters where this 18-hole, par-72 layout was designed by international golf architect Ross Watson.

It has one of the toughest challenges around these parts that include Hazards like tall trees, ponds and lakes and some very hard-to-navigate fairways. As such, golfers love to hate the Kelab Golf Seri Selangor as it requires a lot of skill and patience.

In fact, the Kelab Golf Seri Selangor is known to be one of the busiest Golf Courses in the Klang Valley having clocked in about 6,000 rounds each month. As it is a public golf course, the demand to play here can be quite high at times which include golfers from all levels. Apart from that, members of the royal families and dignitaries are known to like playing at the Seri Selangor Club as well. Its location in Kota Damansara makes the golf course easily accessible through most major expressways in the Klang Valley which comes here, providing an ideal getaway from the noise and congestion of the city centre.
