Kota Permai kicks off Cleveland Srixon CSSB Open


3 of the top golf clubs in Malaysia will be hosting parts of the Cleveland Srixon CSSB Open golf championship this, kicking start with the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club , the Mines Resort and Golf club and the KLGCC (Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club) respectively who were all previous hosts for the golf tournaments in the USGA, LPGA and Malaysian Open championships.

This prestigious golf tournament is a collaboration of dynamic brand leaders bring together companies like Cleveland and Srixon which is the title sponsor, Thai Airawys, Sharp, Fred Lenzo, Pharmaton, Sunplay, 100 Plus, our own Kurnia Insurans and many others. The 14-leg circuit will begin with Kota Permai with the others following suit until September.

According to Matt Yasumoto, the managing director of Srixon Sports Asia, the organiser of the tournament, the participation of the 3 top golf clubs bring about much excitement to the third edition of the tournament that grew from 10 legs to 14 this year. The second edition last year took golfers on a 12 leg tour around the country and for this year, the tournament will conclude at the final 2 days event at the Palm Hills Golf Resort and at Bangkok’s Lum Luk Ka Country Club.

Golf tournament in Shah Alam

As mentioned, the circuit will be at Kota Permai Golf and Country Club, Shah Alam on April 10 while on April 21, the circus will be travelling to Mantin at the Staffield Country Resort. After that, they head out to The Mines Resort and Golf Club on May 5 before going to the Maybank Malaysian Open 2011 host Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club on May 21.

The Impian Golf and Country Club hosts the game on June 2 before returning to KLGCC on June 18. After that it would be the Ayer Keroh Country Club ON June 25 and 5 days later head out to The Mines Resort and Golf Club.

They will then travel across the sea to Shan-Shui Golf and Country Club in Tawau on July 2 before hitting the greens on July 7 at Meru Valley Golf and Country Club.

A week later it would be at the Templer Park Country Club and subsequently be at Cinta Sayang Golf and Country Resort on July 16. The Borneo Golf and Country Club in Bongawan hosts the penultimate leg on July 23 before the circuit ends on September 21-24 at Palm Hills Golf Resort and Lam Luk Ka Country Club in Bangkok, Thailand.
