iM4U operates as a non-profit organisation

The organisation is led by a CEO working with a management team.

 

iM4U also manages the DRe1M Fund. The Dana Sukarelawan 1Malaysia (DRe1M) provides financial support for youth to carry out volunteer activities that are aimed at helping targeted communities and social groups.

iM4U started Dre1M to realise youth’s Collective-Intelligence, dreams and inspire them to make a difference to the country. It’s our commitment towards supporting youth volunteerism. With an initial fund of RM130 million, DRe1M is available to eligible individuals, not-for-profit, non-government organisations and uniformed-bodies. What kind of Collective-Intelligence Youth led initiatives do we support?

Individuals may apply for funds to undertake their activities via the DRe1M fund. The five categories of projects supported by the iM4U DRe1M fund are as follows:
A) Youth development
B) Culture
C) Community service
D) Social enterprise
E) Sports

You can become a member by registering as iM4U members will be updated about upcoming volunteer activities that are registered on our website.

Who can become a member of iM4U?

All Malaysians aged 18 to 40 are eligible to become a member of iM4U.

Why is iM4U interested in Collective-Intelligence Youth Development?

The Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak recognizes that Malaysian youths can and should contribute in helping to transform Malaysia to be a better place to live, work and play. In order to capture the imagination of our youth, to feed their dreams and inspire them to believe that they can make a difference to their country, their region and their world, iM4U aims to provide a common platform for youth to carry out volunteer activities that are aimed at delivering benefits to targeted communities and social groups.

Are schools & universities eligible?

Only individuals are eligible to join. However these individuals may be students in schools or universities. iM4U also has a network of Outreach Centres in the institutions of higher learning. Please contact the Student Affairs Department of the various institutions for more information. A list of centres is provided in our facebook page.

We believe that in the long term, youth who are positively minded will bring the success of our nation to greater heights. It is our goal to nurture our youth and turn the negative to positive and the mediocre to outstanding.
