Airil Rizman is a renowned Malaysian professional golfer. Born on April 22, 1978, this KLite was a Malaysian national amateur champion back in 1998, 1999 and 2001. A year later in 2002, Rizman turned into a professional golfer.
Achievements from an early age
He bagged several titles when playing in the Malaysian PGA Tour. He first made his appearance on the Asian Tour in 2003. Even though he failed to finish top 10 in the tour until 2006, his chance and opportunity finally came in 2007 when Rizman won Pakistan Open. He was the second Malaysian to win the Asian Tour after Danny Chia won the 2002 Taiwan Open.
An illustrious career in golf
To sum it up, he won 16 titles in the country when he was still an amateur golfer, as well as the 1999 Brunei Amateur Open and bagged gold medal in the 2001 Southeast Asian Games. And when he turned into a professional golfer, Rizman won a total of eight titles on the Malaysian PGA Tour. Besides that, he also finished second at the PGM Vascory Templer Park Championship, third in the 2014 UMW Impian Championship, 5th at the 2015 Maybank Johor Masters and many more.
