: The Tournament shall be decided by stroke play over 3 rounds of 18 holes each day, subject to The Committee’s decision in the event of circumstance which makes the playing of 54 hole impracticable, to |
cancel any round(s) at its discretion.
- Eligibility : Perak Amateur Open 2024
a) Open to Men players who are:
– Amateur golfers in accordance with the Rules of Amateur(Status issued by the R&A.)
Having a maximum WHS Handicap Index of 15.8 and below which must be current at the time of entry for MALAYSIAN.
: b) Open to Ladies players who are:
– Amateur golfers in accordance with the Rules of Amateur
Status issued by the R&A Rules Ltd;
– Having a maximum WHS Handicap Index of 20.9` and below which must be current at the time of entry for MALAYSIA
c) All competitors shall produce their current WHS handicap certificate upon registration. Players from non-WHS Clubs may play in with certification from the cl
d) Entries are limited to 120 players for Perak State Amateur Open 2024 on first come first ba Anything more is discretion of tournament committee.

Practice Round : |
Official practice round is on from 7.30 am onwards. |
| All players must leave the course by 4.00pm. Green fee is | ||
| complimentary. Buggy fee is at RM 51.50 nett per players on twin
sharing basis inclusive of insurance. Single rider buggy must pay RM |

| 99.90 nett per buggy inclusive of insurance. Players must book their
tee time for the practice round directly with the Club in advance. |

Entry Fee : |
The entry fee for each player in the Perak Amateur Open 2024 is: RM 400.00 nett for Meru Valley members |
| RM 500.00 nett for Malaysians (non Meru Valley member) | ||

9. Registration : Players are required to register either in person at Meru Valley Golf & Country Club or by telephone at +605 – 5293300 by 1.00 pm on 18th September 2024. Failure to do so may result in the player being withdrawn from the Championshi
10. Practice range : Open from 6:00 am to 8.00 pm.
Practice balls are charged at RM 8.20 nett per 50 balls.
11. Food and Beverage : Daily breakfast & lunch will be provided on competition days for players only. All other transactions are by cash/T&G.
12. Winner / Prizes : The 2024 Perak Amateur Open Gross Champion (Men & Ladies)
The competitor who returns the lowest aggregate Gross score over
54 holes or less shall be declared as The Champion.
Prizes will be awarded as follows: Gross Event
- MEN: 1st – 10th placing gross scores over 54 holes or less.
- LADIES :1st – 7th placing gross scores over 54 holes or less
Nett Event
- MEN: 1st – 10th placing nett scores over 54 holes or less.
- LADIES :1st – 5th placing nett scores over 54 holes or less.
13. Prohibited : Mobile Phone
The use of mobile phone is strictly prohibited during the competition rounds. This is a serious breach of etiquette as per TOC (Item 21).
14. Golf Attire : All competitors are required to observe golf club dress code/ golf attire and the Rules and Regulations of the Cl
15. Caddies : Caddies are NOT ALLOWED for this Tournamen
