While Kuala Lumpur is a great place to play golf, there are certain factors that you need to consider when you play. The weather is one. Playing during the day time might be too hot especially during the dry season. Another factor is that you need to make time during the day which is not a luxury everyone would have. So, one way to get past all these hurdles is to play golf at night. This, however, might not be possible as not every golf course would have this option. So we find out some of the best you can consider.

Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club(no more night golf as of 2021)

The Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club is a great place to play your game of golf at night because of its location. The course is brightly lit during the evenings and you can easily get here as it is connected via the KESAS and Kuala Lumpur-Seremban highways. The 18-hole course and its driving range is one of the most popular ones around and it literally glows at night with its green surroundings made specifically for both amateur and professional golfers.

The Club at Bandar Utama

Located in the exciting township of Bandar Utama, you can easily get here within 20 minutes from the city center. Made specifically for the residents around the Bandar Utama enclave and beyond, The Club is perfect for you if you stay around here and is looking for night golfing. There is something for everyone here including some of the best sporting facilities like badminton as well as a world-class swimming pool. The 9-hole golf course here illuminates at night, giving you great visibility when you play your game within the lush surroundings.

Glenmarie Golf and Country Club

Make a choice between the Garden or Valley golf courses here. Designed by the international name Max Wexler, both courses are made to push you further in your game during the day. However, you can enjoy night golfing at the Garden Course which comes with floodlights. Hazards including the lakes on the course which puts up a challenge each time.

Tropicana Golf and Country Club

Perhaps one of the most reputable golf courses around Kuala Lumpur, the Tropicana Golf and Country Club offers you not one or two but three 9-hole courses to play in. Named East 1, East 2 and West 1 respectively, East 1 is the one you want to play at night. Getting here is a breeze which only about 25 minutes from the heart of Kuala Lumpur and you are here in the shortest time available. Offering a full-service resort and golf course, the lush greenery just looks so much better when lighted up.

Monterez Golf and Country Club

The Monterez Golf and Country Club could be a good choice if you like to play your golf at night. Located in Shah Alam, getting here is quite easy via the KESAS highway or through Federal Highway. The golf course opens for night golfing between 4.00pm and 7.00pm but players can actually continue and finish up their games after that. Floodlights are illuminated come night time which gives you a clear sight of the course. Coming here with the family would be quite fun as they get to enjoy the facilities of the clubhouse as well.
