Everyone knows that Malaysia is a great golfing destination due to its naturally rich slopes and highlands. So if you are planning to go around Malaysia for a golf vacations, you will surely be spoilt for choice as there are so many Golf Courses scattered around all the states around the country. You could go for a strict golf course or head out to the countryside. The highlands could be a great place to go or one with a resort for the spouse and kids.

In Selangor, there is the Templer’s Park Golf Club, the Darul Ehsan Golf Club, Saujana Golf & Country Club in Subang, the Royal Kampong Kuantan Golf Club and another one in Port Klang Golf Resort. Not too far away from all this are those in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Being a city center, you might find that it could be somewhat a bit too city-like although they do have quite a good selection of choices. Here you could go to the KLGCC or Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, the Royal Selangor Golf Club, the Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club and many more.

In Sabah, there is the very popular Mount Kinabalu Golf Club, the Borneo Golf & Country Club in Bongawan, the Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club, the internationally acclaimed Karambunai Resorts Golf Club as well as the Lahad Datu Golf & Country Club among many more. The Sandakan Golf and Country Club and the Sabah Golf & Country Club too are hosts to some of the major local golf tournaments.

In the neighbouring state of Sarawak some renowned courses here can be found at the Damai Golf & Country Club in Kuching, the Hornbill Golf & Jungle Club, the Sibu Golf Club and Miri Golf Club in Sibu and Miri respectively as well as the Prisons Golf Club. This is where you will be able to enjoy a game of golf during the day and perhaps take a few days escapade tours to the naturally rich forests and resorts around the states here. After all, Sarawak is also home to the Niah and Mulu caves all of which are tourist attractions in their own accord.
