Khor Kheng Hwai – The Malaysian golfer with big wins in major tournaments and events


Khor Kheng Hwai is among the Malaysian golfers who stand out in the global scene. He was once among the highest-ranked Malaysians in the rankings.

A good run in 2015

In 2015, Malaysian pro golfer Khor was the runner-up at the Darulaman Closed Championship. He had just won the Penang PGM earlier. That was a good year for him where he was also the player to watch during the Maybank Players Championship. In 2016, Khor yet again showed some significant play at the Sutera Harbour Golf and Country Club during the Warisan Harta Sabah Masters. That same year, Khor also joined the SapuraKencana National Classic Golf Tournament which was held at TPC Kuala Lumpur.

Achievements and tournaments by Khor

A year later in 2017, Khor who was 32 then won the PGM (Professional Golf of Malaysia) Tour’s Palm Resort Golf Championship. He took home RM31,500 as the winner. Other tournaments that Khor has been involved in the last few years include:

  • 2019 PGM Northport ADT Championship– Finished T10

  • 2018 PGM MIDF Championship– Finished T41
  • 2018 PGM CCM Championship– Finished T12
  • 2018 PGM MNRB Championship– Finished T49
  • 2018 PGM MIRI Championship– Finished T39
  • 2018 PGM Northport Championship – Finished T40
