Kim Leun Kwang is a Malaysian pro golfer who has made a lot of inroads and achieved success in recent years. After years of trying, he finally made his major mark when he won the 2018 CIMB National Championship.
Qualifying for the big event
This achievement earned him the qualification to play in the prestigious CIMB Classic that year which was to be held at the TPC Kuala Lumpur. Winning the CIMB National Championship earned him the prize money of RM30,00. The next year, Kim continued his march to more success when he won the PGM MNRB ADT Sarawak Championship which was held at the Sarawak Golf Club. It was to be his first Asian Development Tour (ADT). This has surely put Kim’s name on the regional golfing scene where he went on to participate in several other high-profile tournaments later.
