BFM is an independent radio station where it is not associated with any other stations. Its slogan is ‘The Business Station’ which means that listeners are those who are interested in the business sector covering issues, latest developments and news around the country. As the name implies, the station is aired over 89.9MHz where it is in English from 6.00am to 12.00pm while between 12.00am to 6.00am, the language used is Bahasa Malaysia.
