SOGCE Networking Golf 2023 – June 2023

One of the most anticipated golf events coming up in 10th June 2023 is the SOGCE Networking Golf. SOGCE is short for Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference and Exhibition where there will be a myriad of activities held on the 2 days.

Continuing the tradition

As part of the SOGCE 2023 which will enter its tenth edition, there will be the SOGCE Networking Golf which is always exciting and competitive.

For 2023, the SOGCE Networking Golf will be held on the 10th of June 2023 at the Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Midas Events Management or MEM will be hosting the event under the organisation of MOGSC (Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council). The objective of the game is to raise funds that will then be channelled for charity in the East Malaysian state.

Event and Venue

The Sutera Harbour Golf and Country Club is the ideal place to hold this event as it is a globally renowned golf course. The 27-hole course was designed by international course designer Graham Marsh and is known to have attracted some of the top golfers from across the world to compete here.

The only course in Kota Kinabalu that offers night golfing, there are 3 excellent courses to choose from namely the Garden Course, Lake Course and Heritage Course. With the majestic Mount Kinabalu as the backdrop, it will surely be the perfect setting to host the SOGCE Networking Golf 2023, offering the best of nature of the surroundings.

The perfect closing event

The SOGCE is slated to be held on the 8th and 9th of June 2023 and on the 10th, the SOGCE Networking Golf will be held. As there will be a host of business and corporate executives congregating for the conference and exhibition, a golf game would be an ideal closing event.

In 2022, Sutera Harbour also played host to the 9th edition of the SOGCE. That year saw more than 140 players who came together and pitted their golf skills against one another.

The players were from 27 Oil & Gas companies that were involved in the SOGCE. The guest-of-honour was Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam, the Deputy Chief Minister III and the Minister of Industrial Development.

The SOGCE Networking Golf event was sponsored by some of the top names including Petronas Lubricants International, Malaysia Airlines, PETRA Energy and many more.
With such a strong lineup and track record, the 2023 edition will surely be expected to be bigger, attracting more players and surely more celebrated than previous years.
