Genevieve Ling is a female Malaysian pro golfer who is always seen with a smile on her face.

Starting in golf young

Genevieve started playing golf at a young age where she came from a family of golfers. In 2015, she was part of the SEA Games contingent. However, it took a lot of hard work to come through the ranks where she experienced a lot of achievements at the SportExcel Junior tournaments. She had then gone on to attend the Boise State University in USA through a golf scholarship in which she completed her degree in communications.

Charting her success in the sport

By 2019, Genevieve had already won 4 PGM (Professional Golf of Malaysia) events and she did that in a little more than two and a half years. She came through 3 back-to-back wins at the Saujana Golf and Country Club’s PGM Ladies Championship. In her first season in the WAPT (Women’s All-Pro Tour) in the United States, she recorded a tied-third at the Bella Vista Charity Classic which was her best to date. The WAPT is a developmental tournament with tickets into the Symetra Tour before getting into the prized tournament the US LPGA.
