R Nachimuthu is perhaps one of the most seasoned players in the Malaysian professional golf circuit. One of the most impressive achievements came in 2015 when he won the Maybank Players Championship which was then held at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. That win saw him took home the prize money of RM47,150.
Leading the charge for Malaysian golfers
Nachimuthu was recently involved in the 2019 PGM Labuan Championship which he joined in the previous 2 editions as well. The veteran golfer also defended the Port Dickson Closed Championship in that year which was held at the Port Dickson Golf and Country Club, taking home the RM34,000 prize money. That win proved that age was no barrier to being one of the older players in the circuit.
