Hartamas Shopping Centre (HSC) made their mark in fashion this year

Hartamas Shopping Centre (HSC) made their mark in fashion this year with their inaugural fashion week titled, “Stylish Silhouettes”.

The fashion show was a strategic move to promote fashion tenants at HSC. The inaugural fashion event was poised to be established as an annual fashion event in Malaysia’s fashion calendar. It also allowed to showcase the creations of Malaysian designers and to highlight what HSC has to offer in terms of fashion.

The opening night saw performances by emcee Brian McIntyre, singing not only blues and jazz songs but at one point, a Chinese song as well!

The fashion show started almost without a hitch, showcasing beautiful collections from Bissbee, OWL, Tessuto, Elisa’s Collection, Hooha Activewear, Terry Palmer, Optique Eyeworks, Sparkles Jewellers and Pink Jambu who presented a couple of never-thought-before usages for towels.

Surprise Lucky Draw from HSC

But HSC shoppers who were present received a nice surprise in a lucky draw that night with prizes sponsored by the mall’s tenants as well as Sheraton Subang.

But the highlight of the night was when the models came out to the catwalk with designs by Malaysian designers Amir Luqman, Beatrice Looi, Eve, Keith Kee, Venie Tee, and William Liew.

These designers, most who were present at the show, have donated one of their creations to be auctioned during the fashion week. Proceeds from the auction will go to the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.
